The ASI Recreation and Wellness Program at California State University, Stanislaus provides its campus community with opportunities for recreation and promotion of healthy lifestyles. Our purpose is to promote physical fitness, enjoyment of life, self-discovery and self-esteem for people of all cultures, interests, and abilities.
Our programs can improve the quality of life on campus, strengthen ties between and among undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff; provide opportunities for participation including; intramural sports, recreational fitness and wellness programs; help reduce stress experienced by those who live, work, and study at California State University, Stanislaus; and improve the health and well-being of the campus community.
This is accomplished through continuing campus collaborations, efficient use of resources, maintaining our high quality staff and developing strong communication links with the university community. |
| The ASI Recreation and Wellness Program at California State University, Stanislaus will provide the campus community with a high quality wellness program tailored to the specific needs of the campus through teamwork, ingenuity and resourcefulness. We will provide a diverse intramural sports program that encourages valuable skills, such as, leadership, fair play, sportsmanship, social and interpersonal skills.
The ASI Recreation and Wellness Program shall strive to meet the physical, psychological and emotional needs of the campus community. Our knowledgeable and trained staff shall provide a fun and healthy environment for all participants. |
