| We, as humans, are born with the capacity to develop a belief system. As children, we didn’t have the opportunity to choose our beliefs, but we “agreed” with the information that was passed to us from the beliefs of others we were exposed to. Of course, as we grow older, we can have our belief systems challenged. We can then become depressed, or angry and certainly at times, unhappy. This workshop will show you ways in which you can become aware of your beliefs, possibly make some positive changes and subsequently feel happier and more at peaceall of which you certainly deserve. |

If so, learning relaxation skills could be a great way to improve results in your day-to-day life, and to improve your general sense of health and well-being. This workshop will present an overview of strategies that have been found to improve relaxation.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice a relaxation technique that many students have found helpful for improving test-taking, social situations, and their ability to enjoy leisure time activities. |

Human relationships help us to carry on because they always presuppose further developments, a future and also because we live as if our only task was precisely to have relationships with other people.
Albert Camus
Advancement of technology has dramatically influenced the way that we develop and maintain personal and social relationships. The concept of “connectedness” has taken on a much broader meaning that may include person-to-person contact, or global interaction via electronic media. This workshop will explore core concepts of relationshipbuilding; these skills are applicable to the most complex type of interpersonal relationships. |
