University Way makes its mark on Turlock thoroughfare CSU Stanislaus President Ham Shirvani and Turlock Mayor John Lazar celebrate the installation of the new Monte Vista Avenue/University Way street signs on April 4 in a brief gathering with members of the Turlock City Council and Associated Students leaders. The new lighted signs have been installed along Monte Vista Avenue within the Turlock city limits. Smaller "University Way" signs in the University red and gold colors have been installed at each smaller street intersection as well. The signs and the new One University Circle address for the University are part of an ongoing effort to raise the profile of CSU Stanislaus and to build a University community in the City of Turlock.
