New Borrowers

1. Choose a PLUS Loan lender through the PORTAL system.
2. If you want to find out whether you will qualify for the PLUS before you make a commitment, look on your lenders website for "PLUS pre-qualification" or "PLUS pre-screen".
3. Otherwise, go to your lenders website and e-sign a PLUS Master Promissory Note. This is the legal document for the Parent Loan, and is good for up to ten years worth of borrowing.
4. Complete the Parent PLUS Loan Request Form.pdf and return to the Financial Aid Office.

Returning Parent Borrowers

1. Complete the Parent PLUS Loan Request Form.pdf and return to the Financial Aid Office.
2. Contact (Mr. Tompkins) in the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions about your PLUS loan.
