Mission Statement
The Office of Institutional Research (IR) provides on-going assessment and evaluation of all strategic actions and supports all institutional research undertaken as the University pursues its mission. Philosophy Statement The Institutional Research office’s staff members are committed to continuous improvement of the quality of students' learning experiences and the effectiveness and efficiency of the institution, primarily by generating high quality research for decision-making and planning purposes and offering research-related assistance designed to improve the quality of life for citizens of CSU Stanislaus.
Vision Statement
Staff members of the Institutional Research office envision university-wide systems of assessment and evaluation and an institutionalized culture of evidence through which the University realizes excellence in all it does.
The IR office, known for its professionalism, speed, and accuracy, will contribute to the enhancement of educational experiences for the entire academic community to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. It will enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and academic distinction of CSU Stanislaus so it will be viewed not only as a model institution, but also as a national leader of postsecondary education for the Information Age.
