Several remarkable characteristics attracted me to serve as President of CSU Stanislaus. We pride ourselves on promoting academic excellence. We have a truly international faculty made up of professors who have lived, taught, and conducted research all over the world and who have the knowledge and commitment to help each student define his or her place in our complex global society. We offer the advantage of a smaller student body (8,200 students) on a magnificent campus. On 240 acres graced by a wealth of lakes and fountains, we offer a tranquil and safe haven where you can pursue your studies on a campus in touch with nature, yet just ninety minutes from the culture and big city excitement of San Francisco. Our first class sports facilities, our state-of-the-art science lab now under construction, our newly expanded on-campus Residential Village with all the amenities of home - all are components of a welcoming campus environment.
