Dr. Robert Danziger holds a Ph.D. in performance from New York University. A student of C. Robert Reinert and William Polisi, he has served as principal bassoon with the Haifa Symphony, the Jerusalem Symphony, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, and the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra. Currently he is an active performer of solo and chamber music and a member of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra.
Before coming to Stanislaus in 1991, Dr. Danziger was coordinator of Music Education and Chairman of the Music Department at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. He has recently finished preparing new editions of two textbooks, The Musical Ascent of Herman Being, and The Revelation of Music, which have been adopted in over 200 colleges and universities around the country. |
