| Background |
Eastham previously taught in the Physical Education Department and coached women's basketball at Trinity Christian College near Chicago, Illinois for four years. Eastham has taught as CSU Stanislaus since 1995, her classes include Kinesiology, Elementary Physical Education, Theory and Analysis of Team Sports and Health in Today's Society, Lifetime Fitness Training.
Eastham's main goal is to provide students with the experience and tools needed to succeed in their profession after graduating from CSU Stanislaus. Students enrolled in Elementary Physical Education classes will receive practical instructions and experiences in learning how to teach physical education to elementary school children. Kinesiology involves an introduction to human physics, and an in-depth anatomical study of musculoskeletal system through laboratory experiences. Theory and Analysis of Team Sports students learn the rules, strategies and skills of six different team sports. |
