| Associate Vice President Roger L. Pugh |
|
 Roger L. Pugh is the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. Mr. Pugh oversees the offices of Admissions and Records, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student Outreach and Recruitment and Graduate School admissions and operations.
Mr. Pugh has twenty-seven years of experience in enrollment management, including extensive experience in admissions, student retention, institutional research, and student financial aid. Preceding his many years in higher education, Mr. Pugh was a teacher and counselor at the junior high and high school levels.
Prior to Mr. Pugh’s arrival at CSU, Stanislaus in 2001, his responsibilities for the previous seven years included, but were not limited to, overseeing admissions, orientation registration and advisement, career services, a comprehensive scholarship program and retention initiatives at Northwest Missouri State University. Mr. Pugh also served as Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment Management at Eastern Washington University, where he planned, supervised, and implemented all phases of general undergraduate admission, orientation, advising, and freshman year experience programs. Mr. Pugh served as a senior associate consultant for the national enrollment management firm of Noel-Levitz USA Group Company from 1999 - 2003.
Active at the national level, Mr. Pugh provides presentations on strategic enrollment management for numerous national associations. He is the author of “Helper One: The Prospective Admissions Tracking System That Works for EWU”, an article that appeared in The Admissions Strategist.
Mr. Pugh holds a M.Ed. from Northern Montana College and has completed course work for his doctoral studies in educational leadership at Gonzaga University. |
