Lower Division Transfer Requirements
You will qualify as a lower division transfer student if you:
Have completed fewer than 60 transferable semester or 90 quarter units
Have at least a 2.0 GPA as a California resident or 2.4 GPA as a non-resident
Are in good standing at the last college or university attended
Have met the admission requirements for first-time freshmen
Have taken the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I) of the College Board or the American College Test (ACT), unless exempt (see Eligibility Index)
Complete the following courses:
(A2) Written English Composition
(B4) Math/Quantitative Reasoning (which is above the level of intermediate algebra)
Upper division transfer requirements
You will qualify as a upper division transfer student if you:
Complete a minimum of 60 transferable semester or 90 quarter units
Have at least a 2.0 GPA as a California resident or 2.4 GPA as a non-resident
Are in good standing at the last college or university attended
Complete 30 units which meet CSU general education requirements with a "C-" or better. These units must include the following courses:
(A1) Oral Communication/Speech
(A2) Written English Composition
(A3) Critical Thinking/Logic **
(B4) Math/Quantitative Reasoning (which is above the level of intermediate algebra)
