Mission & Purpose
|
Our Mission is to assist students in the process of identifying, developing, implementing, and evaluating career plans, in preparation for employment after graduation, and to develop relationships with a diverse group of employers and organizations to obtain occupational information and opportunities for students that will guide their career development process. The Career Services Center also serves as the primary resource to employers seeking to recruit well-educated graduates to fill the Central Valley region’s employment needs.The Advisory Council was established to support our Mission. The primary functions of the Advisory Council are to:
- Advise the Career Services Center administration and staff on labor market trends and employment issues that affect the Mission.
- Contribute to the assessment of the Career Services Center programs and services.
- Promote the Career Services Center programs and services to the public and university constituencies.

Council Meetings Schedule
|
|
The Advisory Council meets twice a year to review and evaluate the concluding year’s activities and provide advice to improve service delivery for the coming academic year. Special working committees may be designated and convened to support the needs identified during the meetings, or at the request of the Career Services Center Director.
