Requirements (18 units)
1. Select one of the following courses (3 units):
- ENGL 2100 British Literature to 1800, 3 units, or
- ENGL 2110 British Literature after 1800, 3 units
2. Select one of the following courses (3 units)
- ENGL 2200 American Literature to 1865, 3 units, or
- ENGL 2210 American Literature after 1865, 3 units
3. Complete the following upper division courses, (6 units):
- ENGL 3009 Applied Writing, 3 units (WP)
- ENGL 4620 Children's Literature, 3 units
4. Select 6 units of upper division English upon advisement.
Note: For a student preparing to take the multiple subject credential, the following courses would be particularly appropriate for the concentration:
